This question may be random but would you believe your friend if they told you that they have seen a dog on top of a pyramid? Marshall Mosher’s friends will probably think that he is making up a joke, but as random as it sounds, it’s true. Luckily, Mosher captured it on cam to show his friends. Well, as they say, to see is to believe. 😉
It all started out when Mosher decided to paraglide around Egypt’s Great Pyramid of Giza. He has his camera with him to probably take shoot footage of his experience and the scenery. But as he passed on top of the Great Pyramid, he spotted what seemed like a strange four-legged animal. It turns out that it’s a dog. Like you, Mosher was also puzzled as to why a dog was on top of a high pyramid.

He later posted it on his Instagram and TikTok account which quickly became viral. People were amazed at how a dog managed to climb up a pyramid. One netizen joked that the dog is Anubis, who is an ancient Egyptian god with the head of a dog who is a protector of graves. Others joked about how Mosher’s friends wouldn’t believe him. But behind the jokes and awes of netizens, some expressed their concern for the dog, asking Mosher if the dog had been rescued.
The next day, Mosher posted a follow-up video to go paragliding once again and check if the dog was still on top. He plans to call on rescue if ever the dog is really stuck on the pyramid. But after he checked, he didn’t see the dog on top, so he assumed that it must have gone down. After, Mosher assured the viewers and explained that the dog lives around the area along with other dogs. He was amazed to learn that they often climb up and down the 454-foot ancient pyramid. As proof of the dog’s safety, Mosher showed the dog beside him.

Other Jaw-dropping Moments Featuring Dogs
Dogs are one of the smartest animals around and they are even more smarter than what people think of them! According to Zachary Silvers, a Ph.D student in the Comparative Cognition Lab of Yale University, dogs are extremely skillful, and they follow the communicative cues of humans through points and gazes. Silvers found that dogs can see humans communicating with one another, and through that, they may learn whether a person is helpful or not.
But the mystery lies in how the dog can climb a high and steep pyramid. No other human has climbed or attempted to climb the pyramids, so there is no explanation for why the dog does it. Truly, a dog can do so many things — even the ones we least expect them to. For now, let’s take a look at some jaw-dropping moments featuring dogs.
The Appreciative Dog
One funny and jaw-dropping moment is when a dog becomes appreciative of the toys that they have. Teddy, a 4-year-old Golden Retriever, has a routine every morning: he would get up, do his morning walks, and play with his toys afterward. But before he goes into full playtime mode, Teddy will take a moment to appreciate his toy. He would lie down and raise both of his arms while carrying a stuffed toy and looking at every detail of it.

Student Crossing Guard Dog
A stray dog named Kupata from Batumi in the country of Georgia is well-loved by the community. The reason? He would always help students cross the streets by barking at approaching vehicles to stop. He would then be accompanying the children while crossing the streets.
