These dogs did not tolerate animal cruelty.
Stray dogs are considered highly adaptable animals. Some of them might have been lost or abandoned, but they still show resilience, allowing them to survive and even form bonds within a pack. While these dogs don’t deserve to be homeless forever, there’s a story that would make us admire them even more. Even without protective owners, they stood up for themselves and showed a rude human being what stray dogs are capable of.

There’s a story about a pack of dogs that staged a “car attack” that has gone viral on social media. It was a remarkable event witnessed and captured by a photographer who happened to be in the area. Based on the photos, the angry dogs trashed the car, leaving some parts of it dented.
So what triggered these dogs to damage the vehicle? According to the witness, a man kicked a stray dog that was lying on his reserved parking spot. Neighbors reported that he went on attacking the dog until it screamed. The stray didn’t attack him but ran away instead. For a while, the cruel man thought he was able to get away with his behavior.
When Payback Time Hits
After the incident, the owner of the vehicle went into his apartment. The stray went back, urinated on the car, and ran away to gather his friends. Moments later, the photographer captured three angry dogs attacking the car, gnawing and chomping away. One of them even tried to destroy the windshield of the car. The photos captured the bite marks and obvious dents left by the dogs on the vehicle.

The story about the strays’ car attack circulated on social media and commenters were impressed by the dogs’ cleverness. More importantly, people were infuriated by the man’s rudeness. What happened also gave way to more discussions about community efforts for keeping vulnerable animals protected.

Cruelty Faced by Strays
Stray dogs live a hard life. Aside from facing every day without a safe home, it’s a struggle for them to find food and water as well as seek medical care. For some of these dogs, cruelty is just around the corner. They may experience it when being exposed to extreme weather conditions, inconsiderate individuals, or the loneliness that comes with being deprived of companionship.
At the same time, strays could pose risks to us because of the diseases they might be carrying like rabies and toxoplasmosis. They are also capable of damaging properties and behaving aggressively when abused. While we can’t save every stray we meet, what we can do for them (and also for our safety) is to adopt or foster. When you do so, you’re making space in local shelters where strays could temporarily stay. But if it’s not possible for you to take in another pup, you can also donate supplies or money to shelters or organizations that rescue stray dogs.

Additionally, spaying or neutering your own pet may help in making a difference to the lives of strays. It’s a step toward resolving the overpopulation problem in animal shelters and preventing unwanted pregnancies in pets. Eventually, this should lead to less crowded shelters and enough staff that could take in and care for other animals on the street.

From The Club
I didn’t know dogs can have a sense of revenge until I saw the story about the strays’ car attack. I agree with other social media users that animal cruelty shouldn’t be tolerated, and it’s quite amazing to see those dogs standing up for themselves. At the same time, it’s kind of scary to think about the things these dogs could do as they continue to develop negative associations with people or places. That’s why it’s super important for strays to be rescued and exposed to gentle corrections until they’re ready to find their fur-ever homes.
