When you’re a dog owner, you know that there’s often a worker your furry friend adores—a favorite human who brightens their day. Social media is filled with reels of dogs eagerly awaiting the arrival of their dog walker, mailman, or trash collector by the doorstep. But for Wynonna, her favorite person wasn’t someone who visited her home—it was a drive-thru worker at McDonald’s. Touched by this bond, Wynonna’s owner, Maceon, decided to spread some holiday cheer with a gesture that brought tears of joy to the worker.
Wynonna and the McDonald’s employee’s story started out when she and her owner, Maceon, would order at McDonald’s. This particular employee will always hand out treats for Wynonna until she grows to be one of the dog’s favorite people. Each time that Maceon would drive-thru at McDonald’s, Wynonna would tag along for treats and, of course, see her favorite employee.
Just like any other day, the pair went to their usual McDonald’s location to order a butter biscuit and a large Diet Coke. Wynonna could not contain her excitement as she waited eagerly by the car window.
As soon as Maceon’s order was ready, the McDonald’s worker was greeted by the excited Wynonna as she handed out a treat. She thanked the two for stopping by as she revealed that she’s been having a rough day, and Wynonna’s presence is making her happy. To help ease it, Maceon revealed that they actually moved houses to a different area, but since Wynonna wanted to see her favorite employee, they decided to stop by their usual location.
As Maceon and Wynona wished the worker better days ahead, she immediately gave out another treat for the dog to munch on and finally said their goodbyes as Maceon drove out. She learned a valuable lesson about being kind to someone all the time since you never know if they’re having a bad day.

The Big Surprise
After a humorous video of people pointing out her “weird” breakfast choice of butter biscuits, Maceon realized that it’s been days since she and Wynonna last met with the McDonald’s employee. Still, the woman always crosses Maceon’s mind. She wanted to gift her a little something for the holiday season.
With that, she set up a GoFundMe page to cheer the employee up and make up for the bad day that she experienced. For her other gift, Maceon went into TikTok to invite her followers to donate and film a video of her heading over to Target to grab 10 pounds of Milk-Bone treats for the employee to give out to other dogs. Maceon also ordered her a hat to wear as another one of her and Wynonna’s gifts. She planned to go on Tuesday, which is two days since she bought the huge box of treats.
In a video series and compilation titled ‘McDonald’s Story’ on TikTok, Maceon told her followers about the surprise and the steps that she has taken to ensure that the surprise will be smooth. Maceon explained that the McDonald’s worker has been using her mother’s car since the transmission of her car was destroyed, and she will need some money to fix it, which will make the GoFundMe financial assistance timely. Maceon also got in contact with the General Manager of the worker’s location and other individuals who work for the regional level of McDonald’s in the Carolinas to make sure that the worker was on her break when she revealed her big surprise.
When the day came, Maceon handed out the huge box of Milk-Bone treats with a huge red ribbon on top as the first surprise. Maceon invited the employee inside the fast food restaurant to tell her about the other surprises in store for her. She revealed that she had set up a GoFundMe page while she was in tears about how Wynonna had made her happy during the bad day that she had gone through.
The total of the GoFundMe page amounted to $6,000 to give the worker a nice tip for the holidays. The worker then hugged Maceon as she never knew that the customer she used to serve and the dog to who she used to give treats had given her the best Christmas gift out of their kindness.

From The Club
This story reminds me that kindness goes a long way. Despite the worker having a bad day, she never failed to make a dog and dog owner happy by giving out treats. It also goes out as a lesson to always be kind to others no matter what, as they might be having a bad day we do not know about. I was touched by the fact that Maceon set up a GoFundMe page as a way of saying thank you for all the treats and service that she has provided both Wynonna and her owner, Maceon.
