Every dog has their own quirks and unique traits that only they can do. We may try to decipher what it means to them, but it’s just them being who they are. One man was able to capture his Bulldog, Reuben’s quirks. He kept on doing it every evening, and it never failed to entertain everyone, even his owners, who would laugh the thing off.
The video first starts with Reuben’s owner introducing the Bulldog and saying that each night, Reuben does a thing called “the dance of the Bulldog.” It’s a numerous name that the owner uses after he describes Reuben’s actions.
After he introduces Reuben, the dance of the Bulldog goes on. It begins with the dog signaling that he wants to go up on the lap of his owner while he calls him teasingly. He just gazes into the eyes of his owner while in the same position. Moments later, Reuben draws closer to his owner, which changes her position. He’s waiting for his owner to make the first move to pick him up.
The owner then raised his arms to catch him, but Reuben stood up and circled around his owner’s chair. For Reuben, he is playing hard to get. It’s like telling his owner to catch them when he can. However, his owner didn’t bother to catch him, so he continued to roam around the furniture and circle around the chair. He keeps his body close, but not too close that his owner could reach for him.
For what seemed like forever, Reuben looked like he grew tired of going around and was ready to relax. He accepted defeat by making his way to his owner’s lap and his owner carrying him as he lounged around the recliner chair. It’s the same routine that Reuben and his owner would play the next evening, next next evening, and even the evening next week. While his owner couldn’t explain why he did it, it was a bond that he and Reuben had.

More Unique Quirks Seen From Dogs
Scrolling around social media and liking dog videos from reels gives us a good and healthy ten-minute laugh. Those are the quirks that every pet dog has and we’re lucky enough to live in a place where we can just press record. Here are some of the most quirkiest things that some dogs have:
Dogs Climbing Up the Pyramid
Paraglider Marshall Mosher took into social media his discovery of stray dogs climbing up and down the pyramids of Egypt. He captured it in a video after paragliding on top of the pyramids. After talking to the locals, he discovered that the dogs would often climb up and down the pyramids. There was no explanation for why, but it sparked concerns among netizens ranging from the vulnerability of the pyramids to the dog’s safety.
The Appreciative Dog
Another quirky dog habit that made it to social media is from @AGuyandAGoldenn, where the owner, Jonathan Lower, catches his Golden Retriever named Teddy lying down and raising his doggy toy high up in the air while staring at it. It seems like Teddy just appreciates the toy that he has. Lower said that this had been a part of Teddy’s morning routine after he walked outside and before he play with his toys.
Love Matters More Than Food
Another dog caught on camera is Rolls, where his owner takes a video of him while eating his meal. In the middle of eating his food, Rolls looks up and sees his owner taking a video of him. He leaves his food and turns to his owner to greet her. He brushes his body to his owner, saying thank you for prepping him his meal.

From The Club
One quirky thing that I could think of from our Chihuahua named Girl is how she will always take out all of her toys from her cage when she’s roaming freely around the house. She would scatter her toys around the house even when she’s not playing with the toys. She just likes them being free, too, as she roams around the house. What’s your dog’s quirks?
